turquoise fever

I got a fevahhhhhh,
and the only prescription
is
MORE TURQUOISE.

Let's explore shall we...?

Were you aware there exists a psychology of color?

La Modella Mofia

Yes, indeedy there is.

And from the color psychologist experts, we learn
that the meaning of TURQUOISE is
open communication and clarity of thought.

Of course!
Are you drawn to this hue?

"Turquoise controls and heals the emotions
creating emotional balance and stability.
In the process it can appear to be on an
emotional roller coaster, up and down,
until it balances itself."

Lulu Frost

Besides being visual xanax,
what else does the color do for us?

It re-charges our spirits in times of stress.
Of course, there is always a coastal vacation house
if you are turquoise intolerant.

It heightens levels of creativity and sensitivity.
(Token eyecandy because I love you.)
You're welcome.

Interestingly, too much turquoise
may give you an overactive mind.
It may cause you to feel unbalanced,
too emotional or unemotional.
Anybody out there unable to
stomach their turquoise liquor?

But turquoise can encourage
inner healing.

Oooooh, don't you love that?
Just saying the words 'inner healing'
creates a calmness for me.

Doesn't some of this stuff actually
make sense when you think about
an outfit or room with too much
turquoise in contrast to just
the right touch of
the gorgeous color?

Turquoise looks so happy hanging out with white.

Or in its natural state.

Yeah, turquoise and neutrals are best friends
if you ask me (an amateur color psychologist
and humble shop owner who is totally
hoping you take a peek inside
One Girl very soon).

Peace.
