LOVE LETTER to Mom

my beautiful mom today

Dear Mom,

You’ve taught me so much.
I wanted to share 10 of the most important lessons.

1.
Do not judge. You haven’t walked in their shoes.

2.
Go for what you want in life.
No one is going to knock on
your door and just hand it to you.

3.
Be kind. Always help the underdog.

4.
Be a good friend (you were my first one!).

5.
You taught me to develop a sense of style and to love clothes.

6.
You taught me to be a good mom.

7.
You taught me to ride a bike, tie my shoes, cook, and clean
(ok...I might have missed some of that lesson).

You taught me to be the perfectly imperfect me.

8.
You showed me how to be open
to new experiences and new people.
You always said “the more the merrier.”

9.
You taught me the value of putting myself out there.
“Don't be afraid to ask because even if you are told ‘no’
you are right where you started and have nothing to lose.”

10.
You taught me the importance of being physically fit
and to take care of my mind and my body.

I’m so thankful for you, mom.
For helping me become the person I am today.

I love how you helped me learn how
to accept people for who they are
and not to sit in judgment
just because I don't understand.

I am grateful you taught me to have a big heart
and gave me the tools to have many long
lasting friendships throughout my life.

You allowed me to find my path and at times
it wasn't easy so thank you for having faith
and trusting in me.

Thank you for you
and for all the love you give.

Happy Mother's Day, Mom.

Love,
